I’m back

I couldn’t stay away.

I am not doing well.

And I need therapy.

From my bloggy friends.

I went back to work last week and I’m a mess. A complete and utter mess.

See, the last time I was at my workplace, my life was very different. Happily married, expecting my first baby. About to go on maternity leave.

As I returned to that environment, all those memories came rushing back. And the juxtaposition of old life and new life is too much to handle at times.

I thought I was doing OK, but clearly, I’m not.

I know it will pass, like everything else. But I need an outlet and I had to resurrect the blog. Under a new name. A bit more anonymous than before. I wasn’t comfortable with all that private information being out there. And the six degrees of separation thing just spooks me.

So much to write about.

I met a new man. Taking it very slowly.

More on that soon…

I get it. But use this time to make new memories. Look at the old memories, smile and let them go…then look at your surroundings with new eyes. It will happen. It will take a little time but it will happen.

    Glad you’re back.

    Hang in there. ((Hugs))

  2. I hear that. Just wait til all the ppl you met while preggers start planning and popping out their 2nd kids. It seems to be expected once the first kid hits 2, so you’ve got a while. But my ovaries twinge every time The Mook asks me for a baby.

I’m no longer working for the place that saw me married, pregnant, a new home, homeowner…then separated and a single mum and renting again. I’m glad, in a way, I left that behind so that I can start fresh.

There is a lot to be said for new memories, as T says. Indulge, throw caution to wind and write.

Oh, some people I know are already pregnant again. It’s torture!
And to live in this area of the city, where 90% of the female population is either pregnant or with a young baby, it’s a daily struggle.
      Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  3. Blogging is great therapy. Both the community, and just writing.
